FAQ
How does the consultation work?
As in any Doctor’s visit, I listen to your story in detail. I will then ask you some pertinent questions to supplement the picture. We then, if using Zoom, can perform a virtual exam, understanding the minor limitations. A written exam from a previous provider is best sent along via email. If we have a zoom visit, the history, exam, and recommendations will be sent to you, and your physician of choice. If we have an email or phone visit, I will summarize the consultation in written form for you.
If needed, I can send along a prescription for most of the testing, so it can be completed locally.
Medicines are sometimes more difficult to order from an online visit.
The solution is to work with your local doctor to get you the help you need.
Do you need a copy of my medical records?
Whenever possible, I like to read the relevant portions of your records in advance of the online consultation.. This includes letters from your primary physician and appropriate specialists in the three years preceding your virtual visit. In this fashion, we can suggest relevant testing prior to your virtual visit.
When we do chat, I can be more specific with advice for you. We can also do virtual exam via zoom, to help guide the direction of your care.
How is the visit billed?
The one hour consultation is 250.00 USD. We use online payor systems, or USPS.
Follow up visits are 100.00/hour or fraction thereof.
